Porsche 992 GT3 “Velocita” by DMC

DMC Porsche 992 GT3 Carbon Fiber Aero Kit replaces OEM Body Parts: Side View

Summary:

  • Carbon Fiber on Cherry Red Finish
  • All aerodynamic body parts in OEM Exceeding Prepeg Carbon
  • Full Titanium Sport Exhaust
  • Massive 175 cm FIA/TUV Wing

DMC’s excursion into the Porsche territory has just gotten bigger and the German tuners are taking a leap by adding the new 992 GT3 to their line-up of tuning packages.

Aggressive appearance: the new DMC Carbon Fiber aerokit.

GT3-RS inspired lines of the DMC carbon parts determine the strong styling of the new aerodynamic package for the 992 GT3 models. This includes the carbon lightweight aero front fenders with wheel arch louvers, the particularly wide carbon side skirts. The front bumper’s inner grill, the rear diffuser and the front hood design have not been modified, but they are replaced with ultra light-weight carbon fiber parts – an option that is not even available from OEM Porsche yet.

The real eye-catcher however is the massive 175 cm rear wing, a spoiler that is FIA conform and TUV certified.

We wanted to give our clients the ability to enjoy the GT3RS looks while not having to cope with the body-ache issues that car comes with. The regular GT3 offers much more comfort, and with DMC’s Aero-Kit it actually turns into a car that comes very news to the GT3RS appearance – or even goes beyond it.

The DMC carbon parts replace the respective series components, making the car lighter. Take the OEM fenders off, replace them with DMC’s version. Same goes for the bigger wing, which adds-on to the GT3’s original connection brackets.  In addition, the carbon rear spoiler profile with DMC lettering integrated in the carbon fiber structure has a new striking shape and the wing end plates are considerably expanded in the driving direction as well as downwards. This creates an unmistakable racing look. At the same time, the aerodynamic balance of the production vehicle is retained.

The scope of parts of the DMC carbon kit can be freely configured and enables 911 GT3 owners to match the vehicle, optionally in matt or high gloss visible carbon fiber.

Ready to rumble? The new DMC titanium sports exhaust system for the Porsche 911 GT3 models.

When the roadside becomes the show-stage: DMC’s new sports exhaust system lets the Porsche 911 GT3 unfold its full soundscape and completes the individual and performance-oriented driving experience. Goosebumps guaranteed – wherever you go to.

At the push of a button, the valve-controlled sports exhaust system opens up a sound festival, making DMC the right choice for an extraordinary audible presence. The flow-formed Titanium sports exhaust system made by ZESAD GmbH in Germany, was specially developed for the Porsche 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 with touring package. It’s Titanium appearance visually underlines the sporty character of the GT3 models.

New lightweight forged wheel: DMC Velocita.

The engineers have designed new directional forged wheel that is available with plenty surface finishes – tailor-made for each vehicle. The wheel dimensions for the Porsche 911 GT3 are 9.5 x 20 inches at the front and 12 x 21 inches at the rear.

Accurate 3D Scan

The original GT3 was carefully 3D scanned by DMC, with an accuracy of 0.2 mm tolerance. This high-tech procedure of capturing objects into the computer ensures that all parts have a same or better fitment as the OEM equivalents from Stuttgart. Since the data is on DMC’s servers, it not only helps for the product development, but can also be used for Augmented Reality (AR) applications. In fact DMC has partnered up with Blockchain company www.Arcartera.com to let you preview their wing spoilers on your own car. Stay tuned for our next press release, this is going to be an exciting one: They will be bringing the Metaverse to every car enthusiast’s home, no matter if you own the Porsche or not! DMC is the first tuner world-wide that uses Web3 solutions such as AR and NFT. Earlier on this year they were the first one to accept crypto-currency as a valid payment method for their aerodynamic body kits.

DMC Porsche 992 Programme

DON’T WANT TO READ? WATCH THE VIDEO NOW!

The year 2020 just started with a bang. And with a new age, we also remember the years that passed. Retro has never been as strong as today, and German tuner DMC embraces traditional design for quite a while now. We had seen it on their famous Lamborghini Aventador Wing that reminded us of the SV, and during the Geneva Car show they showed us a Classic Countach wing, re-imagined on the Huracan. Today, we are glad to show you their first renders of their new Porsche 992 programme, it’s as RETRO as its gets. Introducing the DMC Porsche 992 Aero Kit called Emozione GT:

As we had seen previously from DMC, their Stage 1 usually consists of parts that add onto the OEM Series body work. The 992 parts shown here today are no different, let’s have a close look at that’s included. All parts we will look at are available in Carbon Fiber as well as Kevlar finish:

The front spoiler adds conveniently under the Porsche 992’s OEM Front Bumper and has two functions. The slightly wider form supports downforce, and two integrated splitters allow channeling the air, decreasing turbulence and enhancing the road stability.

The Side Skirts closely attach to the Porsche 992’s body lines, and are easily recognisable. A fin towards the end gives an additional distinction from the regular OEM design and creates the impression of a wider and lower car without actually giving up road clearance.

At the rear we find the DMC Rear Diffuser, specially designed to attach to the Porsche 992’s lower bumper section. Besides continuing the optical enhancement, the fins on the diffuser also channel the air that travels under the car, giving the driver a better road feeling.

One of the prominent features we find on DMC’s Porsche 992 Body Kit is the rear wing. It sits on top of the serial spoiler, whose active function is not changed. As a base, we find DMC’s duck wing, which is also available separately for clients that do not wish to add the bigger wing. Designed with traditional Porsche lines, it reminds of of classical Porsche cars of the 1990s.

The retro style continues, should Porsche 992 owners decide to opt in for the complete DMC GT3 Spoiler. It is mounted on the aforementioned Duck Wing, and bears the iconic Porsche GT3 RS shape found on the previous 997 generation. It seems, the classic lines never fade, and this setup looks as OEM as factory could have delivered it.

The Wing Blade itself was clearly inspired by The Porsche RSR. Coming in at 120 cm, this Wing is clearly not for the light-hearted. If you are looking for a big spoiler, DMC has you covered. This product gives sport enthusiasts additional aerodynamic downforce, as well as looks on the streets. This truly is a wind that will get people talk, and we are sure it will bias the crowds into lovers as well as opponents. But you know what they say, haters gonna hate.

Finally, but not last, the aero kit we just introduced you is not for looks, it was developed to support DMC’s performance package for the Porsche 992. Achieved by an electronic chip modification (ECU), the DMC Emozione GT will get an additional 44 kW (60 PS) and hence gets the overall power up to 375 kW (510 PS). The torque rises an additional 80 NM , giving you an amazing 610 Newton Meter. This package can be completed with DMC’s Muffler Package. A cutting-edge intelligent ECU exhaust controls valves, with an emphasis on the optimization of both acoustics and performance. You can choose to have the valves fully open for maximum flow and power, or closed, volume is reduced for a more low-profile comfortable drive.
