DMC 12 Cilindri Tuono

Hong Kong, 21 September 2026 – DMC Exotic Car Tuning Limited today presents the DMC 12 Cilindri Tuono, a limited commission developed around the Ferrari 12 Cilindri.
The Ferrari 12 Cilindri is the contemporary expression of Maranello’s naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder grand tourer: a 6.5-litre F140 V12 developing 819 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, with a top speed in excess of 340 km/h. Its architecture, proportions and aerodynamic balance were defined as a complete project.
The DMC 12 Cilindri Tuono does not replace that project. It extends it. The programme asks two questions of the original car: whether the rear may carry a more decisive aerodynamic plane, and whether the V12 may be given a second, calibrated breath. The name Tuono — thunder — describes that intention.
Design
Design inspiration is taken from Ferrari’s XX DNA, the family of road-legal models that reintroduced a fixed rear wing as a functional and formal element. The factory 12 Cilindri was specified without that plane. DMC has developed it for this application.
The Tuono carbon package, produced in autoclave-cured prepreg, comprises:
- a significantly sized fixed rear wing
- side skirts integrated with the body side
- front canards
Finishes are gloss or matt, specified at commission. Surfaces are treated as structure, not appliqué. Development follows DMC practice established since 2009: German engineering, TÜV certification as a working discipline, and the material standards applied when supplying Italian manufacturers already fluent in carbon fibre.
Exhaust
The exhaust is supplied by ZESAD. It is available in high-grade stainless steel or in Inconel. Active valves are operated from the cockpit and provide two principal characters: a restrained mode for arrival and a fully open mode for the V12. The system terminates in four tailpipes measuring 112 × 100 mm, designed to the factory rear. An optional coating in 999 fine gold is offered for thermal dissipation and finish.
Wheels and chassis
A new forged wheel set is specified at 10J × 21″ front and 12J × 22″ rear, with 275/35 ZR21 and 325/30 ZR22 tyres. Optional sport springs reduce ride height by approximately 30 mm, lowering the centre of gravity and tightening the car’s visual line.
Powertrain
The 6.5-litre F140 V12 is offered with two DMC calibrations.

Dynamometer results show mid-range gains of more than 50–70 wheel horsepower from 7,400 rpm to the rev limiter.
