DMC Exotic Car Tuning today presents its complete refinement programme for the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, available on the GLS 600 and the GLS 680 exclusively.
The X167 range includes Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 yet DMC has specified Maybach as the sole basis for this commission. The GLS 600 and the GLS 680 are the most exclusive expressions of the architecture. The programme is conceived to extend that standard beyond factory specification.
Exterior
The body receives a purpose-designed DMC carbon-fibre package, produced in autoclave-cured prepreg and developed as replacement architecture:
- Front bumper splitters
- Front lip
- Rear bumper with integrated diffuser
- Rear diffuser
- Side mirrors
Finishes are gloss or matt, specified at commission. Development follows DMC practice established since 2009: German engineering, TÜV certification as a working discipline, and the material standards applied when supplying selected Italian luxury houses.
The exhaust is designed to terminate in the DMC rear bumper and carbon diffuser.
Exhaust
The DMC sports exhaust for the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 / GLS 680 (X167) is a high-grade stainless-steel system with active sound management:

Two principal modes are provided:
- Quiet / Gentlemen — default at start. A discreet profile, without drone, preserving rear-passenger comfort.
- Sport — valves fully open.
For higher-output conversions such as Stage 2, the system is specified with a 75 mm downpipe, metal catalytic converters with high-performance OPF particulate filters, and 76 mm pipe diameter.

A dedicated forged wheel completes the stance:

Powertrain
Stage 1 ECU calibration, together with the DMC exhaust, brings both variants to a common output:

Interior
The cabin is redesigned in leather. Standard Maybach piano-black panels are removed and replaced with DMC carbon fibre, including:
- Steering wheel
- Dashboard panel
- Door trims
- Rear seat covers
A starlight ceiling is installed over the rear compartment, specified in the manner of a Rolls-Royce headliner.
Commission
A standard Mercedes-Maybach GLS is positioned at USD 250,000.
The DMC Maybach GLS 600 / GLS 680 programme is offered at USD 333,000 — a USD 88,000 commission above the factory car.
Availability is by commission through DMC Exotic Car Tuning Limited.
