Maranello drew the 12 Cilindri as a long breath — soft radii, a rear that rises only as far as manners allow.
Elegante does not argue with that breath. It finishes it.

The Line

This is not the XX blade.

Elegante is a wing that has learned the car’s own handwriting: form-flowed curves that continue the 12 Cilindri’s haunches instead of cutting across them. From fifty metres it can still be missed. From ten, the rear is simply more complete — a second, quieter plane that belongs to this silhouette and to no other Ferrari.

Carbon, not costume.
Prepreg, laid by hand, closed in the autoclave until the laminate has nothing left to hide. The weave follows the curve; the curve follows the car.

The factory’s active element remains.
Elegante does not replace it. It stands above the conversation Maranello already started, without raising its voice.

Where XX remembers the circuit, Elegante remembers the house.

How the Carbon Is Born

The cloth is not forced into an angle and hoped for.

Prepreg — fibre already married to its resin — is laid ply by ply against a tool that already knows the 12 Cilindri’s radii. Then the autoclave: heat, pressure, a silence in which air is asked to leave and the laminate is asked to become one piece. What emerges must sit on the car as if the factory had simply continued the drawing.

No theatre in the oven.
Only time, and a curve that refuses to look aftermarket.

Install:

This is an add-on part. You will have to drill into your trunk to allow the DMC wing legs to merged with the car’s body exterior shell. Through these holes, the DMC wing legs will merge the wing with the car. The OEM trunk is suggested to be removed for installation. Although fitting is quite straight forward we do always recommend using a trained professional to undertake the install. We estimate around 120 minutes to fit.

DMC Products come with a free Gloss or Matte Coating on all Carbon Fiber items, please leave a note at check out which one you like. If you don’t specify we will add a gloss base layer. However we suggest you to add one additional layer to match your country’s local UV and weather requirements as they differ throughout the world. We also suggest to wax, polish and seal the item further, even though we include a base seal of high quality carnauba product. This can be protective in regions that have high humidity or rain.
