The 12 Cilindri’s mirrors are not jewellery hung on the shoulder.
They are two small architectures in the wind — the first surfaces the driver sees after the road.

These caps do not sit on top of that architecture.
They become it.

The Replacement

Not an add-on.
Not a cover hoping the factory part will forgive it.

The DMC caps replace the OEM housings. The original pieces come away. Carbon takes their place — the same duty, a different skin. Prepreg, laid to the tool that already knows this mirror’s volume, closed in the autoclave until the laminate holds the exact radius Maranello drew, and nothing more.

From the cabin, nothing changes except the way light travels across the glass’s neighbour.
From the pavement, the 12 Cilindri simply stops wearing painted plastic where the air first breaks.

How the Carbon Is Born

A mirror cap is a small object.
It is not a small responsibility.

Prepreg is laid ply by ply against a tool taken from the original geometry. Then the autoclave: heat, pressure, the refusal of voids. What leaves the oven must close on the stalk as if Sant’Agata had specified carbon from the first drawing — edges that meet, a glass that still sits true, a surface that does not read as aftermarket from ten metres.

No theatre in the oven.
Only a part that has earned the right to replace another.

This is a replacement part.   Although fitting is quite straight forward we do always recommend using a trained professional to undertake the install. We estimate around 120 minutes to fit.

DMC Products come with a free Gloss or Matte Coating on all Carbon Fiber items, please leave a note at check out which one you like. If you don’t specify we will add a gloss base layer. However we suggest you to add one additional layer to match your country’s local UV and weather requirements as they differ throughout the world. We also suggest to wax, polish and seal the item further, even though we include a base seal of high quality carnauba product. This can be protective in regions that have high humidity or rain.
