Description
An Allocation for The Schöner
Twenty-five cars will exist.
What is offered here is not one of them standing finished in a showroom. It is an allocation — a slot in that number — while the car is still allowed to be specified by the person who will own it.
The Schöner is Gregor Hans Schöner’s answer to the Murciélago: the last naturally aspirated V12 silhouette, rebuilt from the structure outward. A prepreg carbon tub monocoque, then a steel skeleton — so the body still recognises Sant’Agata, while the chassis no longer carries the weight the 2000s had to accept. It is not a restoration. It is not a catalogue conversion. It is a new car in a legendary skin, limited to twenty-five examples worldwide.
It begins with a Murciélago that has already lived. From that car we take what deserves to remain: the engine, the gearbox, the drivetrain, and those further original parts that still carry the honour of the house. The twelve-cylinder stays longitudinal. The mechanical heart is not invented for a brochure. It is rescued, inspected, and asked to speak through a structure it was never given.
Everything that surrounds that heart is new.
A prepreg carbon monocoque.
A steel chassis built to meet it.
An outer body in full exposed carbon — not a respray of old panels, but a new skin.
A complete interior, made for this car alone.
The finished example will be drawn to the buyer’s wishes. Colour of weave, finish of lacquer, leather, metal, the silence of the cabin — decided after the slot is held, not before. The architecture is The Schöner. The last word belongs to the allocation holder.
Twenty-five worldwide.
One place among them.
