Carbon Fibre SV Rear Wing and Deck Lid for the Lamborghini Murciélago

The Murciélago already knew how to disappear. The SV taught it how to arrive. A fixed wing, a deck drawn as one thought, the silhouette of a car that had been invited onto the circuit and then sent back to the road. DMC has drawn that thought again, in carbon, for the cars that were not given it, and for the LP670 that already wears the name.

Not an appliqué. A rear wing spoiler and a rear deck lid, made as one architecture in the LP670 style. The original deck comes away. This one goes on. The wing is not added after. It belongs to the lid.

The line the earlier cars were not given

The first Murciélago left Sant’Agata without that plane of air. The LP640 refined the car and still left the rear as a single, quieter thought. The LP670-4 SV changed the sentence. DMC has taken that sentence, scanned the geometry, and written it again for every Murciélago that can accept the deck.

On a 580 or an LP640, it is the SV the factory did not fit. On an original LP670, it is the wing and the lid, remade.

How the wing is made

The weave is not applied. It is built. Prepreg carbon fibre, laid to the form of the LP670 deck and the Super Veloce wing, then committed to the autoclave: heat and pressure until the laminate has no void left to hide. No film over a mould. No decorative skin. The wing and the lid are the material.

This is the method DMC has practised since 2009. German engineering, a house that treats carbon as structure.

The Murciélago SV wing and deck belong to that line. The LP670 thought, available to the cars that came before it, and to the SV itself.

Installation:

The LP670 Styled wing requires the removal of the center rear deck lid. Its replaced with a new version by DMC, which allows for the DMC SV Wing to enter and install. Although fitting is quite straight forward we do always recommend using a trained professional to undertake the installation. We estimate around 30 minutes to fit including prep work.

If you have the SV rear bumper, you are ready to go. If you plan to use this wing on the 580 or LP640, it can install as well, but once more step is required to match the 670 design.
