DMC Trix Carbon Fiber Rear Wing

When Lamborghini presented the Temerario, the rear was already resolved. The Coupé and Spyder carried a clean, continuous line. DMC asked whether that line could carry a more certain plane of air. The answer is the Trix — a carbon rear wing spoiler drawn for the OEM Temerario Coupé and Spyder, reverse-engineered from the factory geometry and re-made in prepreg carbon fibre.

Every contour of the original spoiler was studied. The mounting points, the clearances to the engine cover and the rear glass, the relationship to the diffuser. The form was then laid again in individual plies of prepreg, cured in the autoclave under heat and pressure until the laminate held no void. The result is lighter than the factory piece, structurally intact to the standards DMC has held since 2009, and finished so the weave itself becomes the surface.

The Architecture

The Trix follows the Temerario’s existing rear silhouette rather than imposing a new one. It rises from the deck in a single plane, sized for both Coupé and Spyder. Direct bolt-on replacement. No modifications to the mounting architecture. The carbon is clear; gloss or matt is specified when the commission is named. The wing does not sit on the car. It becomes part of the rear the Temerario was given.

This is not an add-on. It is the Temerario rear, drawn again in carbon. Handcrafted in Germany. Specified for the few who require the weave to be continuous with the car.

Install:

This is an add-on part. Depending on your choice in the menu, the OEM item wing base needs to be removed for installation since it will be replaced by the DMC spoiler and bonnet. Although fitting is quite straight forward we do always recommend using a trained professional to undertake the install. We estimate around 240 minutes to fit.

Gel Coat:

DMC Products come with a free Gloss or Matte Coating on all Carbon Fiber items, please leave a note at check out which one you like. If you don’t specify we will add a gloss base layer. However we suggest you to add one additional layer to match your country’s local UV and weather requirements as they differ throughout the world. We also suggest to wax and seal the item further, even though we include a base seal of high quality carnauba product. This can be protective in regions that have high humidity or rain.
