DMC - Our official history

DMC is a German Designer and Manufacturer of Modified Super Cars and Parts.

Officially founded in 2009, DMC quickly expanded its influence from Germany to Hong Kong and the Middle East, establishing itself as a major player in the luxury automotive tuning sector. From its early days, DMC has been pivotal in elevating the aesthetics and performance of iconic vehicles such as the Lamborghini Diablo, Murciélago, and Gallardo, setting the stage for a rich legacy of innovation. But how did it all start?

DMC, a trailblazer in the luxury automotive tuning industry, was founded in Germany in 2009 by Gregor Hans Schoener. Our founder’s journey into the world of elite car customization is underpinned by a rich family history steeped in automotive passion and expertise. Gregor’s father, Heinrich Schoener, began his career in the automotive industry at the tender age of 14, shortly after World War II.

Heinrich dedicated 66 years to rebuilding and shaping Germany’s automotive landscape. This era saw him absorbing and refining vast amounts of knowledge, which he would eventually pass on to his son.

From a young age, Gregor was immersed in the world of automobiles, spending weekends learning the trade from his father. Starting with basic tasks such as changing air filters, Gregor gradually moved on to more complex technical work under his father’s guidance. However, Heinrich, having spent his life as a diligent blue-collar worker, envisioned a different path for his son. He understood the physical demands and challenges of manual labor in the automotive industry and hoped to spare Gregor from the same hardships.

When Gregor expressed a desire to pursue a career as a mechanic at 19, Heinrich steered him towards a different form of leadership within the industry. He imparted a critical lesson: to “stand in front of the line” — a metaphor for leading and setting directions rather than merely following.

Encouraging Gregor to aim for a position where he could command and innovate, Heinrich urged him to continue his education at university. Gregor followed this advice, venturing into finance where he honed his business acumen at a prestigious German bank.

Yet, the allure of automotive work never left Gregor. Combining his business expertise with his lifelong passion for cars, he realized that he could forge a unique path by starting his own company. Thus, DMC was born, not just as a business, but as a culmination of a family legacy in automotive excellence. Gregor’s vision was clear: to redefine luxury car tuning by blending meticulous engineering with unparalleled aesthetic design.

His German brand DMC became a designer of exclusive automobiles that sets the standard in luxury tuning for owners of Lamborghini, Ferrari, and other supercars. Offering bespoke interior and exterior customization options that are TÜV certified, reflecting our commitment to quality and safety. It is now regularly featured at the prestigious Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland, DMC stands as a beacon of innovation and excellence in the automotive world.

DMC: The next Generation

Joining DMC’s future is Gregor Hans’s son Henry Gregor. It’s too early to predict his way but he loves cars as much as his father and grandfather. Are we seeing the next DMC generation?

  2. Porsche Taycan Carbon Fiber Rear Wing Spoiler GT2 GT3 RS & DTM Style fits OEM 4S & Turbo S Deck Lid
Hi, I am interested in above spoiler, the CFK carbon wing.

I have a few questions. What does the base spoiler do? Just the base carbon plate that sits on the trunk?

And will this fit on my upcoming new Taycan 4s? I am supposed to get it delivered by the end of this year. I don’t know if it is 2024 or 2025 but it is the new one that no one has yet.

  3. I´m having new Porsche Carrera T MY 2024. Does your lip (Porsche 992 Forged Carbon Fiber Front Lip OEM Splitter Replacement fits Carrera & Cabriolet) fit that car?

  5. Hello. I am interested in some custom DMC seats. I left a comment on your you tube channel about making the seats heated. And I was inquiring about that and padding options. I would like to know what this may cost if the seats are made from prepreg carbon, with Alcantara padding and a custom logo for the headrest. These seats are for a custom application and not for a normal production car.

    1. That’s an interesting project that we can help with! Could you email us at admin (at) DmcLuxury (dot) com please?
