2. Shipping is included if a 1$ is shown with the Shipping field, it’s not included if a 0$ is shown. DMC keeps the right of final decision if an error was made in the invoice.
3. After packing details are ready we will decide on Express Door2Door, Air-Cargo to Airport or Ocean-Freight to harbour:
4. A door to door freight is not guaranteed and depends on the package size / weight and hence shipping method chosen by us.
5. If goods are shipped by Air-Cargo to airport, or by Sea-Cargo to a sea harbour, the shipment will be considered arrived when the vessel (the plane or boat) arrives at the port of destination. Since we use our German logistic partner Rohlig for most of these shipments, you can choose to pick up the goods yourself at the port, or they would call you to make an offer for the last mile transport to your home or office.
6. Shipping is a 3rd party service from one of the logistic agents listed above (DHL, UPS, FedEx, Aramex for Courier and Rohlig for Air-Cargo and Ocean-Freight. DMC assists our customers to arrange shipping with one of those agents, and they will hence be the customer of them. Please check for updates or other shipping related incidencts with them.
7. The sales is ExWorks, meaning that DMC’s responsibility ends when the goods are picked up by the shipping agent. We will howver include insurance with all transactions, so you can claim potential claims direct with the shipping company.
8. Some countries or destinations are not covered by our worldwide free shipping option, we will infom you if additional charges apply.
9. There may be costs for Tax, Duty, Custom Clearance, Loading/Unloading or First/Last Mile, which are to be covered by the receiver.
10. Please don’t sign receipt with the freight agent until you have inspected the goods, even the box may look unharmed from the outside – signing invalidades any insurance and means that you agree to have received the products in good condition.
11. DMC Composite products are made in Germany, sent to our HKG Head Office for Quality Control and dispatched from there.
12. Shippings marked as ExWorks or ExW will be picked up at DMC’s main facility, after which the buyer has full responsibility. DMC will support where available and provide insurance in most cased, but the buyer needs to liaise with insurance or customs in case of any problems.
13. Shippings marked as DDP will be picked up at DMC’s main facility, and DMC will be responsible for loss of shipments, any damages and potential taxes that may have to be paid at destination country. DMC shall however not be responsible to liaise with foreign custom offices for import details. Our responsibility ends when the goods have arrived at the destination country. Customer should carefully monitor tracking information and contact Courier Companies or Custom Offices, and then inform DMC about potential documents, payments or other requirements for which we will then provide the necessary information.
