DMC had an immense hit with their 488 Ferrari package, a popular aerodynamic package among GTB owners. When the F8 Tributo came to market, it was just a matter of time for DMC to bring on a successor. Today, releasing the Ferrari F8 Tributo “Estremo”, the Germans give us an insight on this new beast which wants to continue its siblings previous success story.

First thing that takes our attention is DMC’s continued quest to design kits that don’t look tuned. Looking at their aerodynamic package, the car infront of us could very well be mistaken for a F8 “Pista” from the original Ferrari Factory. All lines from DMC are in absolute harmony with the shape of the OEM parts, ready to drop jaws.

When we pay more attention to detail, we immediate notice that the wing is quite smaller compared with their previous 488 package, but boy does it still look good! Made from Prepeg Carbon Fiber, as all components of the kit, DMC’s spoiler adds around 100 KG of downforce with an aggressive appearance.

Right under it, the German’s have paid an homage to Ferrari’s classic design, adding a carbon fiber fascia between the blacked out (details!) rear lights. It gives us goosebumps and reminds without doubt to the early days of the Classic F360.

To our surprise, the Rear Diffuser has been mostly kept OEM, with just a slight enlargement of the diffuser’s fins. DMC argues that the OEM car has an amazing aero spec already, giving a perfect road stability. Well we certainly don’t mind the fact that it now comes in ultra-light weight carbon, shredding off some weight. And the diffuser really looks great as it came from factory Ferrari.

Moving over to the sides, we see DMC’s newly developed Side Skirts, and slowly understand how they manage to keep the original look. Besides following the car original body’s lines as we mentioned earlier, we do see DMC’s integration of original classic Ferrari shapes.

The sides skirts are add on parts that remind us of the 458 Speciale, yet larger and adopted to the F8 Tributo’s improved aero specs that DMC explains, was completely developed by wind-tunnel software.

The front fascia has received a complete transformation as well, even though no parts were replaced. Significantly the head lights have been partially covered to adopt the FXX style appearance we saw on previous Ferrari creations. Right below them, we find two bumper vents that have received grill covers, adding to the aggressive new look. The kit is completed with a set of add-on Front Lip Carnards. They widen the appearance of the DMC F8 “Estremo” and reduce wind turbulences that may appear near the front wheels.

The aerodynamic kit was created to support DMC’s engine modification. While the stock F8 is able to perform at 710 HP, the Germans from Dusseldorf have once again shown that they are the master of ECU modification by pushing it up to 788 HP. This increased power train pushes the maximum speed from stock 340 KM/H to 350 KM/H, which is also achieved by a modified Exhaust System. The ride from 0-100 KM/H (0-62 mp/h) was slightly improved from 2.9 to 2.8 seconds.

DMC had an immense hit with their F12 Ferrari package, a popular aerodynamic package among Berlinetta owners. When the 812 came to market, it was just a matter of time for DMC to bring on a successor. Today, releasing the 812 Superfast “Spia”, the Germans give us an insight on this new beast which wants to continue its siblings previous success story.

Let’s start with the candies, DMC’s Ferrari 812 Performance Package, and the Forged Rims:

The standard Superfast comes with 788 hp, more than any street-legal Ferrari has had before, but that’s just too kind for the tuners from Duesseldorf. DMC have developed a performance package that pushes the the Stallion from Modena to the 820 hp mark, a strength which enables the car to reach nearly 350 Km/H. This newly gained power is partially achieved in combination with the new Titanium Exhaust which also holds another gimmick in petto, a martial brutal sound.

All this is supported by a new set of forged 21″/22″ Rims and Sport Springs.

Designed as an upgrade to the OEM 20″ wheels, DMC decided to develop for a combination of 21″ at the front and 22″ at the rear. This does not only further add to the picture of a Lion waiting for its prey, but also improves the overall handling. And even though they are larger than their OEM siblings, they are some of the lightest found, because of their forged alloy nature.  The sport springs finalise the new appearance by supporting the new weight-ratio and handling.  The front is built in 9,5 x 21″ , using Pirelli Sport Tyres in dimensions of 255/30, and the rear has the 12×22 dimension in dimensions 335/25. It is crucial to mention that DMC is using the highest-grade 3 piece wheels made of forged alloy, which can be ordered in either Midnight Black or any other finish that the exclusive clientele sees fit.

The Carbon Fiber Body Kit, is a massive improvement upon the OEM look. Following DMC tradition, it features an whole new, aggressive new look, which is put together by a complete aerodynamic package: The front fascia is refined with a prominent bumper splitter, which not only extends the car, but also features it’s own air channels, overall improving the road stability.

The Bumper flaps feature the option to receive F1 style Carnard Grills and are completely made of carbon fiber. They are surrounded by a wider frame that can be painted if clients choose to follow DMC’s design direction. The same frames can be found on the rear of the DMC 812, presenting another bold item. Together with the front, the car thereby gaining more prominence and sits in alliance with the newly designed aerodynamics.

The extended side skirts not only add to a better road stability by using a pair of diffuser plates, but also stand out with flaps that match the ones that are also found on the front diffuser.

The trunk receives an 599XX esque spoiler wing, which goes well along with the newly designed rear diffuser. A similar spoiler had already been seen on DMC’s previous F12 package and it looks amazing on the 812 as well. As all components of this kit, made of 100% carbon fiber, it showcases giant fins that add further to the aggressive appearance. DMC also manufactures rear light replacements that have a tinted appearance, which looks especially good on red, blue, or really any body colour.

It’s worthwhile to mention that DMC guarantees again no visible damage by using their components, the car can be, at any time, be returned to the OEM look, which can be useful.

The package is finalised with exclusive interior refinements using italian fine leathers and carbon finer. Plenty of buttons and trims are available as a small package, a redesigned steering wheel adds on to complete a medium package or the whole interior can be redone for the VIP package. Small and Medium Projects can be done remotely, but the car needs to be shipped to Germany if a whole interior make-over is requested.

The color this car is planned with is dubbed Starshine Blue by DMC. It’s a deep gloss version of Modena’s Azzurro, mixed metallic glitter that reminds us of Italian Summernights.

Porsche Panamera 971 by DMC

It’s not every day that German Tuner DMC sends us photos of cars, that have 4 doors. The company that is more known for it’s crazy Lamborghini and McLaren Conversions has however tried its design on the latest Porsche Panamera 971. As usual, they didn’t stop with a simple Carbon Fiber refinement but added an aggressive power package as well. Are you ready for details? Introducing the DMC Panamera “Blanco”.

Carbon Fiber everywhere – this is the first impression we get when looking at DMC’s new Panamera 971. Front-, Side- and Rear-Fascia, it certainly seems as if DMC had too much of the lightweight composite material to play around with. And maybe that’s due to the fact that this is one of their first projects that will come with all items made of the new and sexy Forged Carbon Fiber. The tuner with home base in Dusseldorf Germany is well known for its love for that material. One could even say that Carbon is DMC’s signature identification when it comes to developing a new super car kits.

The European engineers have created an aerodynamic package that glances with wider Side Skirts, a more aggressive rear diffuser, an elegant front lip and a vented front hood replacement. The 22″ wheels we see in this presentation are from US Company ANRKY and they look absolutely amazing on this car. Combined with DMC’s design of Carbon Fiber applications, and the matte white finish, the car seems to be an extreme well contrast when compared with its original factory design.

It’s worthwhile to mention that DMC guarantees again no visible damage by using their components, the car can be, at any time, be returned to the OEM look, which can be useful.

Small and Medium Projects can be done remotely, but the car needs to be shipped to Germany if a whole interior make-over is requested.

Finally, a DMC package would not be complete without optimisation of the car’s engine. Modification of the ECU, Sport Filter and a new high-performance exhaust are the base DMC uses to get more horse-powers and torque from the Panamera. As for the Porsche 971 4S, who usually shines with its 2,9 Liter V6, the result after tuning is quite impressive: 475 Horsepower and 590 Nm of Torque help the Panamera to achieve 0-60 in 3,9 seconds while topping out at 292 km/h.

DMC RS Porsche 993 4.0 Carbon Fiber

German tuner DMC is widely known for its carbon fiber magic on various supercars. For a few weeks now, they had been hinting at a project for the classic Porsche 993, which has been widely viewed as the zenith of the 911 range. What started as a project idea, has become a passionate dream, as we see the engineers post new photos every week on their newly dedicated IG account @DMC_RS. As it seems, the crazy idea they had was to create a full carbon body to lower the car’s weight. Let’s see what they did so far, introducing the DMC RS 993!

Nearly the full body panels have been re-created in carbon fiber already: The rear wing, front and rear bumper, all fenders, the wide body fender extensions and even the front hood. Roof and Doors are set to finish soon, completing the concept of an ultra light car. But reducing the weight, is only the first step in the goal that DMC set themselves, in order to build your dream Porsche 993. You can either supply your own car for conversion, or the german tuner will help you to source one. It will be completely rebuilt, starting with a reconditioning of the base chassis, new suspensions and, should you chose to, a re-worked engine set up.

But let’s have a look at the design for a moment. Besides swapping OEM components to Carbon Fiber, you will get a new wider look that is based on no other car than one of Porsche’s Limited Edition EVO GT2. Rumours have it that DMC was able to purchase the original molds, but the company would not (or could not?) confirm this when we asked about it. The new design is aggressive, but even hard-core Porsche 993 fans will be in love, since it’s not a re-drawn tuning body but all based on original OEM lines. And the best, your base car won’t have to be a wide-body Turbo, DMC provides a set of Fenders that also fit a narrow, non-Turbo Porsche 993.

As mentioned earlier, the original engine can be removed and a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated and air-cooled engine flat-6 takes its place. The engine is hand-built and comes from a partner in England UK, which tunes the mill to produce 400 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. Each car receives an active suspension to provide the best dampening rates. The system calculates road conditions 1,000 times per second.

To fill out the wider wheel arches, DMC suggests 295/30/18 front and 335/30/18 rear Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Brembo CCM-R carbon ceramic 15-inch rotors sit behind the wheels. Customers can select from a never-ending options list to create a completely custom Porsche 993.

We will keep you updated about this project, for now, here are some more photos of what the design will look like in white, but we really hope to see a client that chooses an exposed full carbon fiber body Porsche 993, what do you think?

Here are a few shots of the engine work. Some clients may prefer to keep the motor work original but it’s good to see that performance options are available. Would you choose standard or upgrade?

DMC Porsche 992 Programme

DON’T WANT TO READ? WATCH THE VIDEO NOW!

The year 2020 just started with a bang. And with a new age, we also remember the years that passed. Retro has never been as strong as today, and German tuner DMC embraces traditional design for quite a while now. We had seen it on their famous Lamborghini Aventador Wing that reminded us of the SV, and during the Geneva Car show they showed us a Classic Countach wing, re-imagined on the Huracan. Today, we are glad to show you their first renders of their new Porsche 992 programme, it’s as RETRO as its gets. Introducing the DMC Porsche 992 Aero Kit called Emozione GT:

Click the photo to see a larger HD image

As we had seen previously from DMC, their Stage 1 usually consists of parts that add onto the OEM Series body work. The 992 parts shown here today are no different, let’s have a close look at that’s included. All parts we will look at are available in Carbon Fiber as well as Kevlar finish:

Click the photo to see a larger HD image

The front spoiler adds conveniently under the Porsche 992’s OEM Front Bumper and has two functions. The slightly wider form supports downforce, and two integrated splitters allow channeling the air, decreasing turbulence and enhancing the road stability.

Click the photo to see a larger HD image

The Side Skirts closely attach to the Porsche 992’s body lines, and are easily recognisable. A fin towards the end gives an additional distinction from the regular OEM design and creates the impression of a wider and lower car without actually giving up road clearance.

Click the photo to see a larger HD image

At the rear we find the DMC Rear Diffuser, specially designed to attach to the Porsche 992’s lower bumper section. Besides continuing the optical enhancement, the fins on the diffuser also channel the air that travels under the car, giving the driver a better road feeling.

Click the photo to see a larger HD image

One of the prominent features we find on DMC’s Porsche 992 Body Kit is the rear wing. It sits on top of the serial spoiler, whose active function is not changed. As a base, we find DMC’s duck wing, which is also available separately for clients that do not wish to add the bigger wing. Designed with traditional Porsche lines, it reminds of of classical Porsche cars of the 1990s.

The retro style continues, should Porsche 992 owners decide to opt in for the complete DMC GT3 Spoiler. It is mounted on the aforementioned Duck Wing, and bears the iconic Porsche GT3 RS shape found on the previous 997 generation. It seems, the classic lines never fade, and this setup looks as OEM as factory could have delivered it.

The Wing Blade itself was clearly inspired by The Porsche RSR. Coming in at 120 cm, this Wing is clearly not for the light-hearted. If you are looking for a big spoiler, DMC has you covered. This product gives sport enthusiasts additional aerodynamic downforce, as well as looks on the streets. This truly is a wind that will get people talk, and we are sure it will bias the crowds into lovers as well as opponents. But you know what they say, haters gonna hate.

Finally, but not last, the aero kit we just introduced you is not for looks, it was developed to support DMC’s performance package for the Porsche 992. Achieved by an electronic chip modification (ECU), the DMC Emozione GT will get an additional 44 kW (60 PS) and hence gets the overall power up to 375 kW (510 PS). The torque rises an additional 80 NM , giving you an amazing 610 Newton Meter. This package can be completed with DMC’s Muffler Package. A cutting-edge intelligent ECU exhaust controls valves, with an emphasis on the optimization of both acoustics and performance. You can choose to have the valves fully open for maximum flow and power, or closed, volume is reduced for a more low-profile comfortable drive.
